  • For a list of the types of files that you can add to Onvio, see Onvio file types.
  • You cannot drag and drop files from within applications such as Microsoft Outlook into the Documents area; therefore, to add files from Outlook or from other applications, you must first drag the file to a location outside of any applications such as the desktop, and then drag it into the Documents area.
  • You can drag and drop folders into the Documents area only when the application is open in Google Chrome or Firefox.
  • You cannot drag and drop files into the folder path at the top of the screen if Onvio is open in Internet Explorer.
  • When you add a file that already exists in the Documents area, you have the option to replace the original file or to keep both files. If you keep both files, the name of the most recently uploaded file is appended with a "(1)". Onvio sequentially appends any additional files that you upload with the same name.
  • Larger files may take several minutes to upload. You can continue to work in Onvio during the upload process.
  • A client's contact can add files to shared folders if they have appropriate permissions.
  • To upload more than 100 files at a time, you’ll need to open Onvio through Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Internet Explorer version 11 or higher.
