Updating client financial institutions (CUFI)

Tax Agents can now update client financial institution details from Onvio to ATO and vice versa for Tax Year 2019 onwards

Updating from Onvio to ATO

  1. From the menu, go to Client > Setup > Add new client or Edit an existing client > Tax.
  2. Complete the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) details and ensure details are correct, then select Save.
  3. Go to General, Agent Client Relationship and select Action.
  4. Select EFT details and then Next.
  5. Review the client EFT details in Onvio and ATO is shown, and select Update ATO.
  6. A notification message will be displayed. If ATO has rejected the update, a link to the ATO Report containing the error message is displayed.

Updating from ATO to Onvio

  1.  From the menu, go to Client > Setup > Add new client or Edit an existing clientTax.
  2. Go to GeneralAgent Client Relationship and select Action.
  3. Select EFT details and then Next.
  4. The EFT details is displayed under ATO column. If you have not entered EFT details in Onvio Tax, EFT details will be empty under Onvio column.
  5. Select Update Onvio.
  6. A notification message is displayed for successful update.
