Set up multi-factor authentication for your login

Multi-factor authentication provides the highest level of security for your Onvio login. Follow the steps below to set up multi-factor authentication.

If your firm requires multi-factor authentication, staff will be prompted to set it up the first time they log in. See Set up multi-factor authentication for your firm to learn how to make multi-factor authentication a requirement for your staff or clients.

  1. Enter your login and password.
  2. Follow the instructions to set up multi-factor authentication using any of these options. During setup, you will also be prompted to copy or print a list of emergency access codes that you can use if your MFA device is unavailable.

    • Thomson Reuters Authenticator card: purchase the card and activate it
    • Third-party multi-factor authentication app: download and install a TOTP-compliant app on your mobile device and scan the QR code
