Account settings

The account settings page was relocated to make it easier to find.

Tasks

• The task list has been redesigned to display all tasks that need to be completed for all related clients.
• The eSignature process has been redesigned and now includes the option to select a generated signature style.

Documents

• The list and folder options were relocated to make them easier to find.
• You now have the option to display all documents for all related clients.

Annotations

You can now add and edit annotations on PDF documents in the mobile app.

Folder groupings

The Onvio Documents mobile app now honors the User Preference setting for Client Documents Folder Groupings made in the Onvio web application.

Document Request redesign

We refreshed the look of Document Requests and Organizer tasks.

Client Center mobile app - Mobile scanning

The Scan From Device button in the Onvio Client Center web application sends a notification to your client's device linked with the Client Center mobile application. Your client can scan immediately after tapping on the notification.

Client Center app - Document approvals

Clients can now complete eSign and document approval tasks from within the mobile app.

Onvio Documents mobile app - document approvals

Use the mobile app to view the status of document approvals that you sent to contacts.

Onvio Documents mobile app - upload documents

You can upload documents from any screen on the mobile app.

Note: If you are viewing the All Documents screen, you have to set a destination during the final step of the upload process.

Client Center mobile app - firm logo update

When you upload your firm's logo in Onvio Center > Setup > Firm Settings, the logo will be displayed on the Client Center mobile app's login page.

Note: Your logo won't be displayed on the login page for new clients until after they log in for the first time.

Client Center mobile app - support for password-protected PDFs

The app now supports viewing password-protected PDFs.

Client Center mobile app - updated operating system support

The app now supports Android OS 5.0 Lollipop (API 21) and above.

Onvio Documents mobile app - v2.0 for iOS and Android

• We added document communications so you can review and update document status in the mobile app.
• You can now manage folder sharing from within the app, which includes adding relationships and sending Client Center invitations to existing Onvio contacts.

Client Center mobile app - password option for document links

Your clients can now add a password to a document link they send from the Client Center mobile app. The recipient will be asked to enter the password after they click the document link.

Onvio Documents mobile app - Send Documents feature

We added the Send Documents feature to the Onvio Documents mobile app. Now you can use your mobile device to easily send documents to other parties like banks, financial advisors, and clients.

Client Center mobile app - Document Request feature

We updated the Request feature to make uploading documents and adding comments more mobile-friendly experiences for your clients.

Client Center mobile app updates

We released version 2.1 of the Client Center app, which included the following updates.

• Your clients can now send documents to others by using document links that expire, rather than using less-secure email attachments. To send a document link, they'll open the document, press the Share button, add details, and then press Send. The share button is located at the top of the document screen (iOS) (Android).
• We improved the eSignature process within the app to create a better customer experience.

Client Center mobile app update

We added a toggle that allows your clients to switch between navigation options on the main screen of the Documents area. They can tap the icon and then select the standard list view or the folder view.

Client Center tasks on mobile devices

Clients can now use the Onvio Client Center Android and iOS apps to perform tasks assembled and generated in UltraTax CS. These include E-sign tasks, the Web Organizer, and task-specific file upload tasks. To learn more about these Client Center tasks, see Onvio mobile apps.

Simplified Client Center file processes

Clients will see a simplified file listing and upload process on the Client Center mobile app. Folder navigation with enahanced search capabilities will be added in a future release.
