To enter city wages, go to the federal W2 screen in the Income folder and enter the wage amount in Box 18 and the appropriate city code in Box 20. Onvio Tax uses the sum of all Yonkers and New York City wages for Form Y-206 for a Yonkers nonresident return.
Tax
Onvio Tax uses the expenses directly and indirectly allocated to US obligations on the federal Deduct screen to calculate the subtraction for expenses on US obligations on Form IT-225. This calculation also appears on the New York Exempt Income and Expense Worksheet.
Yonkers residents
Onvio Tax assumes that beneficiaries are nonresidents of Yonkers and marks the fields on Schedule C accordingly. If a beneficiary is a Yonkers resident, mark the City of Yonkers resident checkbox in the New York column of the Beneficiaries tab.
