Assign a preparer, reviewer, or staff member to a tax return project

After you set up tax roles, you can assign a preparer, reviewer, or staff member to a tax return project when creating the project, or you can add those assignments to an existing project. To do so, complete the following steps. 

  1. In Onvio Tax, click Projects at the top of the screen. 
  2. Locate the project that you want to update and click the Edit  Edit button button.
  3. On the project's General tab, use the Preparer, Staff, and Reviewer fields to assign the appropriate people to the tax return.

    Note: Before you can select members of your firm in these fields, you need to add staff information for those members in the Setup > Staff screen in Onvio Center.

  4. Click Save and Close to save your changes. 

The availability of some or all of these features depends on the applications your firm has licensed and the permissions your firm’s administrator has enabled for you.
